This is intended to help early modern historians collaboratively compile information about Quattrocento minor characters. For the sake of clarity, this should include "anyone active in Northern Italy 1400-1500, who has been the subject of less than two (preferably conflicting) biographies published in the last 25 years". One book which might be an excellent starting-point is:

Cerioni, Lydia (1970) La diplomazia sforzesca nella seconda metà del Quattrocento ei suoi cifrari segreti. - Roma : Il centro di ricerca, 1970

Also: while the Catalog of the Scientific Community in the 16th and 17th Centuries is a broadly similar project, here the focus is on collaboratively assembling fragmentary pieces of information and building up the social connections between personalities.

Please feel free to add (and edit) minor characters to this list!
