| 011:025 | And We had sent Noah to his people: "I am to you a clear warner!" | Walaqad arsalna noohan ila qawmihi innee lakum natheerun mubeenun |
| 011:026 | "Do not serve except God. I fear for you the retribution of a painful day." | An la taAAbudoo illa Allaha innee akhafu AAalaykum AAathaba yawmin aleemin |
| 011:027 | The leaders who rejected from amongst his people said: "We do not see you except as a human like us, and we see that only the lowest amongst our people who have no opinion have followed you. And we do not see anything that makes you better than us; in fact, we think you are liars." | Faqala almalao allatheena kafaroo min qawmihi ma naraka illa basharan mithlana wama naraka ittabaAAaka illa allatheena hum arathiluna badiya alrra/yi wama nara lakum AAalayna min fadlin bal nathunnukum kathibeena |
| 011:028 | He said: "My people, do you not see that I have clarity from my Lord and He gave me mercy from Himself, but it has been blinded to you? Shall we compel you to it while you have a hatred to it?" | Qala ya qawmi araaytum in kuntu AAala bayyinatin min rabbee waatanee rahmatan min AAindihi faAAummiyat AAalaykum anulzimukumooha waantum laha karihoona |
| 011:029 | "And my people, I do not ask you for money, my reward is with God. Nor will I turn away those who believe, for they will meet their Lord. But I see that you are a people who are ignorant." | Waya qawmi la as-alukum AAalayhi malan in ajriya illa AAala Allahi wama ana bitaridi allatheena amanoo innahum mulaqoo rabbihim walakinnee arakum qawman tajhaloona |
| 011:030 | "And my people, who will give me victory against God if I turn them away? Will you not remember!" | Waya qawmi man yansurunee mina Allahi in taradtuhum afala tathakkaroona |
| 011:031 | "Nor do I say to you that I have the treasures of God, nor do I know the future, nor do I say that I am an Angel, nor do I say to those whom your eyes look down upon that God will not grant them any good. God is more aware of what is in their souls; in such case I would be among the wicked." | Wala aqoolu lakum AAindee khaza-inu Allahi wala aAAlamu alghayba wala aqoolu innee malakun wala aqoolu lillatheena tazdaree aAAyunukum lan yu/tiyahumu Allahu khayran Allahu aAAlamu bima fee anfusihim innee ithan lamina alththalimeena |
| 011:032 | They said: "O Noah, you have argued with us, and continued arguing with us, so bring us what you promise us if you are of the truthful ones." | Qaloo ya noohu qad jadaltana faaktharta jidalana fa/tina bima taAAiduna in kunta mina alssadiqeena |
| 011:033 | He said: "It is God who will bring it to you if He wishes; you will not have any escape." | Qala innama ya/teekum bihi Allahu in shaa wama antum bimuAAjizeena |
| 011:034 | "And my advice will not benefit you if I wanted to advise you and God wanted that you should stray. He is your Lord, and to Him you will return." | Wala yanfaAAukum nushee in aradtu an ansaha lakum in kana Allahu yureedu an yughwiyakum huwa rabbukum wa-ilayhi turjaAAoona |
| 011:035 | Or do they Say: "He invented it?" Say: "If I invented it, then I am responsible for my crime, and I am innocent from your crimes" | Am yaqooloona iftarahu qul ini iftaraytuhu faAAalayya ijramee waana baree-on mimma tujrimoona |
