Adopted unanimously by the Security Council at its 83rd meeting, on 12 December 1946

The Security Council,

Having taken note of the unanimous approval by its members of the application of Siam for membership in the United Nations,

Recommends to the General Assembly that it admit Siam to membership in the United Nations.
